Retail Designer, (In Market) Location – Istanbul, Turkey Reports to: Account Manager, Client Services Tag seeks an retail designer, to join our Middle East team! The Job: As Retail Designer, you will contribute to Tag’s success by delivering outstanding retail designs, strategy, and implementation across the region you work within. The work you undertake will cover the end to end design process and will uphold the high levels of service, design and delivery Tag has built since its inception. Tag now as part of a larger marketing and communications business and has opportunities to rapidly grow its offering in multiple markets. You will be expected to capitalise on these opportunities when they arise. You will work in close partnership with other peers and the larger Tag team to ensure client expectations are exceeded and Tag continues in its mission to become a global leader in shopper-based design. As retail designer, you will be: • A 3D Designer: You will develop unique design solutions in response to a client’s brand design direction. You will have a strong 3D design mindset, and execute a variety of designs that fulfil, elevate, and add value to the customer’s brief. You will effectively present ideas and share design work with a clear, logical and understandable narrative. You will have a positive attitude to overcome road blocks and challenges, striving to always improve the offering to Tag’s clients. It will be key to see the opportunities within each project to stretch the client’s thinking while also maintaining a real-life mindset around budgets and execution. • A Strategist: You will be expected to work with the senior Tag team to create market and client specific strategies on a project by project basis to ensure Tag can attract, win, and maintain client relationships that are profitable and cost effective. As part of the larger organisation Tag sits within you will also from time to time be expected to help strategize how Tag’s offering can work within the larger business for both new and existing customers. • A Professional: You will fully own the design of each project from concept to design development, developing visuals and production ready drawings to support the execution of it. You will have responsibility for the structural design of all projects and be able to efficiently organise the production process with Tag’s network of internal and external stakeholder. You will prioritize your work, in order to execute multiple projects at one time, including the management of the production of design projects with the larger network of designers, creatives, and engineers within Tag’s global team. • A Leader: You will be expected to lead the Tag mission within your market and over time as the workload requires look to build a team to support you on this mission. You will be assisted with this to ensure Tag remains profitable and continues its sustainable growth. You will have the opportunity to create your own specific role within Tag over time to ensure you gain satisfaction from your work and feel you are best utilising your skill set. • A Team Player: With a diverse and multidisciplinary team around the globe, you will collaborate and work side by side with industrial designers, graphic designers, developers, consultants, and suppliers on projects. Your work will contribute to global development business goals by achieving targeted deliverables and KPIs as agreed. • A Storyteller and Representative: Your will share the Tag ethos and value proposition both internally within the larger business organisation and with external clients. You will represent the Tag brand within the market you operate and be expected to champion the Tag process always. • An Explorer: You will participate in periodic market tours, to learn and stay tuned with market and industry trends. You will embark in your own journey, where you will constantly be expected to learn and develop your knowledge of both retail and the greater design field to ensure Tag remains industry relevant and a leader in design and production. Qualifications & skills required: • Design experience preferable in retail or POS design. • Experience in creating 3D structural design solutions for a range of projects types and sizes. • Experience in producing visual design content and delivering design documents including details, specifications and schedules. • A strong understanding of the production process and a good understanding of logistics and implementation. • Degree in Product/Industrial Design or equivalent. • Proficiencies in: • Solidworks • Keyshot • AutoCAD/Rhino • Adobe Suite • Office 365 • Apple Mac OSX • Quark Express 7/8 • Adobe CS3 / CS4 [must be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of In-design, Photoshop and illustrator] • MS Office Programs • Tag [Client Specific] server location, naming convention, setup and procedures • FTP • Management Information Systems • CMD time and materials (desirable) Tag positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
