# Registered Nurse - General Surgery

Role Overview: Join a dynamic 26-bed General Surgery unit as a registered nurse, providing care for surgical, trauma, and adult burn patients with varying lengths of stay. You will treat patients undergoing surgeries such as general, colorectal, dental, trauma, plastics, and weight loss, within a multidisciplinary team that fosters support, teaching, and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Deliver acute and post-operative care tailored to patient needs Participate in a collaborative team environment focused on patient safety and quality care Support professional development through certifications and continuing education Engage in the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP) for career progression Qualifications & Skills Current RN license or recognized compact license Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred Relevant clinical experience in surgical or trauma care Additional Information On-call duties are not required Comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, insurance, and paid time off Opportunities for professional growth, structured preceptorships, and shared governance Supportive team culture with investments in safety and mobility equipment Location Perks: Situated in a vibrant city known for its cultural scene, outdoor recreation, and high quality of life, offering an ideal environment for work and leisure.
