Commercial Roofing Sales & Estimator Location: Northern New Jersey Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 5+ years in the roofing industry, with flat roofing experience required Position Overview We are seeking experienced Commercial Roofing Sales & Estimating professionals to join a growing roofing and exterior construction team in Northern New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial roofing knowledge, particularly with flat roofing systems , along with proven sales and estimating experience. Key Responsibilities Develop commercial roofing sales opportunities and prepare accurate estimates. Perform site visits, inspections, measurements, and scope assessments. Complete new-construction takeoffs and prepare proposals on time. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships. Prepare and present competitive proposals and estimates. Use cloud-based and AI-driven tools for digital takeoffs, estimating, and project tracking. Coordinate with project management and operations teams for smooth project handoffs. Stay current with roofing systems, materials, building codes, and industry practices. Qualifications 5+ years of roofing industry experience required. Strong commercial and flat roofing experience required. Knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and applicable building codes. Experience with siding, facades, and custom metal systems is a plus. Experience with digital/cloud-based estimating and AI platforms. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
