Registered Nurse - Float Pool - Rotating Days/Nights

Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, individualized care across inpatient units on a Float Pool team. The RN reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager and collaborates with site-based managers, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital standards. Key Responsibilities: Float across inpatient units, delivering goal-directed nursing care. Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process. Maintain competency with current standards and contribute to peer development. Promote safety and recognize emergency situations requiring immediate action. Supervise and guide nursing staff, ensuring thorough and timely documentation. Integrate evidence-based practices and ethical standards into daily practice. Support professional growth and foster a safe therapeutic environment. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of one year of acute care inpatient RN experience. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current Illinois Nursing license and American Heart Association CPR certification. Effective communication skills and ability to supervise staff. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required based on unit needs.
