To strengthen our team, we are looking for Industrial Engineer which will be located in our plant Akyazı, SAKARYA What will your job be about? End-to-end planning of automotive production processes and systems, process design, creation of flowcharts, and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) Analysis and determination of machine and equipment requirements, and creation of necessary equipment drawings in AutoCAD Conducting end-to-end FMEA (PFMEA & RFMEA) processes in accordance with AIAG & VDA methodologies, performing process risk analyses, and developing preventive action plans Conducting time and method studies, optimizing line balancing efforts; actively leading Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, etc.) and cost-reduction projects. Coordinating new product launch (APQP) processes; ensuring seamless alignment between APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, and Process Flow documents Monitoring production preparation processes and regularly reporting/presenting KPIs and quality processes to plant management, internal customers, and overseas teams What will you bring with you? A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field (Methods, Process, Manufacturing, or Quality) Advanced written and spoken English & Turkish Knowledge of or certification in AIAG & VDA FMEA, IATF 16949 , and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, SPC, MSA) Advanced proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD ; proficiency in FMEA software is preferred Theoretical or practical proficiency in Lean Manufacturing techniques, time/method studies, and line balancing A strong sense of responsibility, a results-oriented mindset, and practical intelligence; a confident personality capable of communicating comfortably at all levels, from factory management to field teams Ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with strong stress management skills and a competitive spirit in the face of challenges Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the provinces of Sakarya or Kocaeli At Yazaki, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for everyone regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, marital status, national origin, disability, handicap, veteran status, or other legally protected status or characteristic.
