# Laboratory Customer Service Representative II

Role: Customer Service Representative in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Outreach Department. Responsibilities: Provide professional, efficient customer support by answering calls, sharing test results, handling specimen requests, and resolving internal and external issues. Investigate and address client complaints, initiate incident reports, coordinate courier services for specimen pickups and deliveries, and manage report distribution. Assist with inventory management and dispatch on-call phlebotomists for STAT and after-hours collections. Perform duties related to supply assembly and other assigned tasks. Qualifications: An associate’s degree with at least 1 year of clinical laboratory or medical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid NYS driver’s license required. Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities; ability to work independently; technical knowledge related to laboratory procedures and customer service.
