# Registered Nurse - Cardiac ICU

Role: ICU/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse Responsibilities Provide complex, high-acuity care to critically ill cardiac and surgical patients. Perform continuous assessment and advanced cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring. Manage vasoactive drips, ventilator settings, and post-operative open-heart recovery. Collaborate with intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Deliver evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care. Qualifications & Skills Experience in critical care, especially in cardiac or surgical units. Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and vasoactive medication titration. Strong collaboration and communication skills within multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Key Duties: Assess patients continuously, manage complex medical devices and medications, coordinate care with medical teams, and support patient recovery in a high-stakes environment.
