Coordinates the transfer of finished materials and products between various production areas and inventory. To perform assigned tasks and functions in accordance with organizational instructions, established safety procedures and ISO standards. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY Ensure uninterrupted material flow across all lines and shifts through staging, kitting, and transfer of material. Communicate status of material readiness to all relevant stakeholders. Support the production efforts to increase to product flow through the plant; Assembles orders and helps prepare materials and products for shipment; Use shipping records to verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments and orders; Ensure all unplanned moves are transacted correctly, whether written or electronically. Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion; Comply with all company labor policies; Actively participate in company betterment activities; Take advantage of opportunities to develop self; Perform any other duties as assigned or required; Packaging of and delivering products to the shipping area for daily (DIA) type orders; Ensuring accuracy of orders and assisting with order collection and grouping when they arrive on the dock; Developing, maintaining and continually improving a material flow program to assist in the timely and accurate disposition of finished goods. Assisting in planning of Kanban levels with material supervisor to ensure products needed are being produced and kept available Acts as a contact point for scheduling, FAB and other departments as pertains to product availability and preparedness Other material handling duties as needed and substitution or fill in for vacations and absenteeism of others. Expeditor categorization will carry out other duties as assigned and will require the ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment; may require weekend work. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE Communication: Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and verbal) equivalent to a high school education. Experience: A minimum of 1 year in manufacturing • Internal Employee Only Technical Skills: Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent manual dexterity. Process Expertise: Understanding of production flows and work-center procedures. Focus: Ability to manage detailed tasks requiring sustained mental concentration. Certifications: Ability to obtain and maintain forklift and specialized equipment certifications. Performance: Ability to meet quality and production standards. Safety & Compliance: Commitment to maintaining a hazard-free workspace and adhering to all company policies THE ENVIRONMENT Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as… (i.e., safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves etc). The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools.
