Registered Nurse - Full Time Night Shift

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse supports patient safety, recovery, and comfort by implementing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, and evaluation. They provide education, advocacy, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as CMS, Title 22, and DNV-GL/NIAHO. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning and delivering patient care, contributing to unit improvements. Precept and validate competencies for new hires and procedures, and teach nursing students. Delegate tasks to RNs, LVNs, and CNAs, and coordinate assigned teams. Communicate expectations, updates, and improvement opportunities within the chain of command. Maintain a healing environment, prevent harm, and educate patients on their conditions and self-care. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an RN program; BSN preferred. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in acute care; experience in ortho and stroke care preferred. Relevant licensure: California RN license. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; additional specialty certifications desired. Ability to practice within the full scope of licensure, make sound judgments, and act accordingly.
