Floater/ Breaker

About This Role Our growing preschool is hiring for a Breaker/Floater position.. This is a perfect entry level position for anyone interested in childcare or enrolled in early childhood education classes at a higher learning institution. The floater will cover lunch/potty breaks and move between classrooms as needed. These needs may change on a day to day basis. The hours are 11- 6:00 Monday-Friday. What You'll Do Cover breaks Be flexible and willing to go into a class as needed Playing Singing Arts and crafts Assist lead teachers with daily activities and tasks Assist in maintaining cleanliness of classrooms Requirements Prefer 6 months experience in a LICENSED DSS/ABC affiliated childcare center High school diploma/GED Must pass SLED background check Able to lift at least 25 pounds passion for working with children Nice To Haves reliable transportation to and from work Benefits Paid Leave Child Care Discount Pay based on experience Paid Time off after 90 days Holiday pay after 90 days Paid DSS continuing ed classes Paid CPR/First Aid Paid T-shirts
