# Technician - Fluid Power

Job Responsibilities Include Tear down and evaluation of components sent in for repair Using hand/power tools and machining equipment (i.e., drill press, lapping machine, lathe, etc.) Reading schematics/diagrams/blueprints Hydraulic test equipment operation, including flow meters, data acquisition, multimeter, calibrators Testing hydraulic systems Troubleshooting circuits Test stand operation Vendor communication for parts and service Component assembly Hydraulic component failure analysis Working with Microsoft Office programs Quoting repairs in Excel and Word Emailing documents in Outlook Other duties as assigned Founded in 1923, Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE: AIT) is a leading value-added distributor and technical solutions provider of industrial motion, fluid power, flow control, automation technologies, and related maintenance supplies.
