We are looking for a EHS Engineer to join our team and be based at our Bursa facility in Turkiye. Job Responsibilities Conducting equipment safety design reviews, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), on-site acceptance processes and CE document verification in accordance with CATL equipment safety technical standards, EU CE certification requirements and customer corporate standards. Identify and manage local Turkish compliance requirements relating to occupational safety and environmental regulations. Conduct process risk assessments across all work areas, including periodic and frequent activities, production equipment and facilities. Define and track EHS deliverables based on project development milestones. Establish and continuously improve the EHS management system, including developing management procedures, implementing training programmes and supervising daily execution, to enhance overall safety performance. Lead contractor safety supervision and site compliance management during project construction phases. Develop and implement emergency response strategies, manage emergency resources and organise drills to maintain an effective emergency response system. Ensure occupational health and safety compliance in accordance with Turkish occupational safety regulations. Ensure environmental compliance and support company operations in meeting Turkish environmental laws and standards. Complete other EHS-related responsibilities assigned by the company. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Environmental Engineering or related disciplines. Valid Class A or Class B Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience; candidates with experience in the new energy or automotive manufacturing industries are highly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software tools. Excellent command of English, with the ability to use English as a working language for technical communication, report writing, and international meetings. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
