Line Cook (Full Time)

Our Cooks @ Magnolia Glen plays an important role in creating exceptional dining experiences for residents, guests, and associates. This position prepares high-quality, flavorful meals served across multiple dining venues while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness. Full Time: 11:30am – 7:45pm (2 days off a week) Pay Rate $20/hr - $21.50/hr (depending on experience) Paid Vacation / Sick Time / 7 Paid Holidays Excellent • Medical / Dental / Vision Benefits / 401K Free Meal each shift What will I do every day? Assist in the production of creatively designed cuisine Cook according to menus, production sheet and recipes with consideration Maintain kitchen and food preparation in a clean and sanitary manner Deliver all invoices to Dining Services Director in a timely fashion Maintain records or meals served and records of food and supplies used as required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including: Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom applications Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed Ability to fully support kitchen brigade associates Demonstrates understanding of Mise en Place through proper placement and preparation of ingredients Special Requirements/Certifications Food Handler’s certification as required or being willing to obtain one. Minimum 3 years of cooking experience required What's in it for me?
