About the Role Interglass is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in Houston, Texas. This role is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory, developing new business opportunities, reactivating dormant accounts, managing existing customer relationships, processing orders, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from first contact through delivery and payment. Salary: $27.00/Hour Base, sales performance bonus averaging $1,000-$2,000 Monthly. Responsibilities
• Grow sales with current customers and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, email campaigns, and proactive prospecting.
• Reactivate dormant and declining customer accounts and recover lost business opportunities.
• Identify customer buying trends, seasonality, purchasing cycles, and business needs.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
• Meet and exceed established sales goals and performance metrics.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast while tracking opportunities, wins, losses, and at-risk accounts.
• Process customer orders received via phone, email, fax, or walk-in requests using the company's ERP system.
• Prepare and present quotations, pricing information, and product recommendations.
• Follow up on all outstanding quotations until converted to orders or closed.
• Maintain accurate customer, sales activity, and pipeline information within the CRM system.
• Resolve customer concerns, shortages, damages, returns, and order-related issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the Logistics Department regarding delivery schedules, shipment issues, and customer communication.
• Support accounts receivable collection efforts and assist in resolving invoice disputes when necessary.
• Research customer requests for new products and solutions.
• Provide qualified customers with product samples when appropriate.
• Return phone calls and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
• Occasionally visit customers and prospects alongside management.
• Attend regional and national trade shows and industry events.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying sales role involving outbound prospecting, cold calling, and business development.
• Proven ability to generate new business, grow assigned accounts, and achieve sales targets.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and opportunities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems required; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Glass, building materials, wholesale distribution, or related industry experience is a plus. Work Environment
• Office-based position located in Houston, Texas.
• Prolonged periods of sitting and extensive use of phone and computer systems.
• Moderate noise level.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and handle product samples.
• Occasional travel within the assigned territory and attendance at industry trade shows.
