Reporting Analyst

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Reporting Analyst to join their growing team in Des Moines, Iowa. This hybrid role is a great fit for a detail-oriented data professional who enjoys turning raw numbers into clear, actionable insight that shapes real business decisions. Our client is looking for someone who can own the reporting process end to end, from pulling data to presenting findings to stakeholders across the organization. Day to day, you will spend your time building and refining dashboards, digging into datasets to spot trends, and partnering with teams across finance, operations, and leadership to answer their most pressing questions. The person who thrives here is naturally curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and just as happy writing a query as they are explaining what it means to a non-technical audience. If you like solving puzzles with data and seeing your work directly influence strategy, this role offers plenty of room to make an impact. COMPENSATION The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process. Responsibilities Design build and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders Gather and validate data from multiple systems and sources Develop dashboards and visualizations using BI tools Identify trends anomalies and opportunities within operational and financial data Partner with department leaders to understand reporting needs and translate them into deliverables Maintain documentation for reporting processes and data definitions Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency Support month end and quarter end reporting cycles Assist with process improvement initiatives related to data collection and reporting Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner Requirements Bachelor's degree in business finance analytics or related field 2 to 4 years of experience in a reporting analytics or business intelligence role Strong proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and advanced formulas Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating data Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines Experience in a hybrid or cross functional team environment preferred Benefits Medical dental and vision insurance 401k with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Hybrid work schedule with flexibility Professional development and training opportunities Life and disability insurance Employee assistance program Casual and collaborative office environment Performance based bonus potential Tuition reimbursement ABOUT CAREERSCAPE Careerscape is a staffing and recruiting firm connecting talented professionals with employers across administration, operations, healthcare, finance, technology, customer support, and professional services.
