Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary Anchor Bay Powder Coat is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and business performance initiatives across the organization. This position plays a key role in providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive profitability. This position is based on-site in Chesterfield/New Baltimore, Michigan, and works closely with operations, production, and leadership teams to support financial and business objectives in a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and management reporting packages. • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. • Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational performance. • Monitor and analyze profitability, margins, labor, overhead, and operational costs. • Support pricing analysis and customer profitability initiatives. • Assist in monitoring cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics. • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial processes as needed. • Partner directly with operations leaders and manufacturing personnel to identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and profitability enhancement. • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools. • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial analysis. • Utilize ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and emerging technologies to improve reporting and decision-making. • Prepare presentations and communicate financial results and recommendations to leadership. • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or operational finance. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Preferred • Manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or operational finance experience strongly preferred. • Experience supporting plant operations, production environments, or cost accounting functions. • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting. • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management, and working capital analysis. • Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, SQL, QuickBooks Online, or similar financial systems. • Familiarity with AI tools and automation technologies to improve reporting and efficiency. Physical & Work Environment Requirements • Ability to work on-site at our New Baltimore, Michigan facilities. • Ability to regularly interact with operations, production, and leadership teams throughout the facility. • Occasional travel between company locations may be required.
