SECURITY OFFICER

United States Fleet Forces Command

You will serve as a Security Officer in the Security Department (Code R104) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY. You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. You will evaluate work performance of subordinates. You will give advice, counsel, or instructions to employees on both work and administrative matters. You will effect disciplinary measures, such as warnings, reprimands, and suspensions, recommending other action in more serious cases. You will find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed. You will develop performance standards for civilian personnel. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: • Experience in managing complex physical, personnel, industrial, information, and antiterrorism/force protection security programs. • Experience in formulating operating guidelines, approaches, and modes of operations. • Experience in directing the implementation of uniform policies and procedures for classification, declassification, safeguarding, transmission and destruction using consistent and cost-effective methods. • Experience in preparing comprehensive reports of findings and recommendations for leadership's review and action.
