# Registered Nurse - Surgical Unit

Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit as a Registered Nurse, providing care for patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis . Responsibilities include: utilizing advanced technology like telemetry monitoring, performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and assisting with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies . You will apply critical thinking, delegate tasks, and manage time effectively. The role involves collaborating with PCNAs, nurse interns, providers, PT, and OT , in a unit with 24 beds . The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1, supporting a dynamic, technology-enhanced environment. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license in Ohio, BLS certification, and ACLS certification within six months. Preferred qualifications include a BSN . Benefits include tuition reimbursement, certification incentives, and comprehensive insurance. This full-time position offers up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified RNs and involves rotating shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.
