# Human Resources Manager

Position Overview The HR Manager will support all day‑to‑day human resources functions for a small but rapidly growing manufacturing organization. This role blends tactical HR responsibilities with opportunities to build scalable processes as the company expands. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment where priorities shift and collaboration is essential. Key Responsibilities Employee Relations — Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors, addressing concerns, coaching managers, and supporting a positive workplace culture. Onboarding — Assist recruiting team with onboarding new employees. HR Compliance — Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws, maintain personnel files, support audits, and update policies as needed. Payroll & Benefits Administration — Assist with payroll processing, benefits enrollment, employee changes, and vendor communication. Training & Development — Support safety training, skills development, and supervisor coaching programs tailored to manufacturing operations. Performance Management — Coordinate reviews, track goals, and assist managers with documentation and improvement plans. HR Reporting — Maintain HR metrics including turnover, attendance, recruiting activity, and workforce planning. Culture & Engagement — Help design initiatives that strengthen communication, recognition, and retention across production teams. Safety & Workforce Support — Partner with operations to reinforce safety protocols, support incident reporting, and assist with workers’ compensation claims. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred). 5+ years of HR experience , ideally in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments. Strong understanding of employment law , HR best practices, and compliance requirements. Experience supporting hourly workforce populations . Proficiency with HRIS systems , timekeeping platforms, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑growing, hands‑on environment . Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency preferred
