# Welding Engineer

Honda Türkiye A.Ş.

Job Description Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR). Design, optimize, and improve welding processes and parameters for enhanced quality and productivity. Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot welding issues, and implement root cause analysis and corrective actions. Program and optimize robotic welding systems to improve cycle time and weld quality. Ensure compliance with applicable welding standards and support inspection processes, including destructive and non-destructive testing. Conduct weld inspections, quality checks, and maintain measurement and traceability records. Collaborate with design, quality, maintenance, and automation teams to ensure seamless production processes. General Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, Materials or a related discipline), Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding engineering within a manufacturing environment, Demonstrated expertise in MAG welding processes, both manual and robotic, Experience with welding robot programming; familiarity with Panasonic systems is preferred, Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken), Proficient in MS Office applications, Active motorcycle riders or individuals with a strong interest in motorcycles will be considered an asset.
