Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.Position Overview We are seeking a Gateway Antenna Engineer (Level 1) to join our growing team in the USA, owning day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting of our global network of Gateways and Telemetry stations. This role also carries responsibility for spare parts and warehouse management, along with field travel to Gateway sites for hands-on equipment replacement and troubleshooting.  Key Responsibilities: Monitor connectivity and operational status of global gateway and telemetry stations. Troubleshoot anomalies and network failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and escalate as required. Maintain detailed incident documentation, manage trouble tickets, and generate reports. Ensure service assurance through real-time monitoring and incident resolution. Provide first-line, customer-facing technical support (phone, email, chat). Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on satellite teleport systems and infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for escalations, upgrades, and system changes. Operate and maintain fault management systems to track network health and performance. Manage spare parts inventory and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, stock-level tracking, and record-keeping. Coordinate spare parts logistics and delivery to gateway sites to support maintenance and repair activities. Travel to Gateway sites across the US and Canada for on-site equipment replacement, troubleshooting, and preventive/corrective maintenance.  Qualifications  Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in Satellite or Cellular Communications. Hands-on experience with RF systems, high-power amplifiers, converters, antenna drive systems, and baseband equipment. Solid knowledge of IP networks, fiber optics, modems, multiplexers, and broadband systems. Proficiency in remote monitoring tools, system diagnostics, and remote desktop platforms. Experience with spare parts inventory and warehouse management practices. Ability to troubleshoot complex systems with minimal supervision. Demonstrated experience with ticketing, monitoring, and fault management tools.  Preferred Qualifications:  Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment.  Technology Stack: RF systems, high-power amplifiers, converters, and antenna drive systems. Baseband equipment, modems, and multiplexers. IP networks and fiber optic broadband systems. Remote monitoring, system diagnostics, and remote desktop platforms. Ticketing, monitoring, and fault management tools. Spare parts inventory and warehouse management systems.  Physical Requirements  Must be available for on-site work at the Company's office location, with flexibility to travel to Gateway sites as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces or elevated locations to access antenna and RF equipment. Ability to travel domestically (US) and internationally to Canada, including maintaining a valid driver's license and passport.
