Carpenter Co. is excited to welcome a hardworking 1st Shift Operator A (Rolls) to our friendly team in Temple, Texas. Starting your day at 7AM, you will play a starring role on our production floor by running a specialized Loop Slitter and Convolute machinery. We are a team that works together to hit our daily goals, and in this role, you will get to use your eye for detail to create high-quality cut foam products that our customers love. Position Description Operate Loop Slitter and Convolute machinery Prepare foam slab materials Conduct quality checks Follow prepared production schedule Monitor equipment and perform minor maintenance Communicate with management Verify proper equipment operations Skills / Requirements High School or GED Ability to read basic tape measure Basic reading, writing, and math skills Ability to become forklift certified Physical capability to lift and adjust Flexibility to work overtime Important Notes Carpenter Co. is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or other legally protected characteristic.
