What You’ll Get Pay: Up to $40/hour (based on experience) 401(k): Generous company contribution Full Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability Tool allowance + boot voucher Uniforms with laundry service Paid time off Free trash service (local employees) Access to financial and emotional health support What Makes Granger Different Well-maintained shop: Clean, organized and efficient workspace Strong support team: Parts delivered directly to your bay Modern tools: Paperless shop with full vehicle history access Team culture: Collaborative, safety-first environment Why You’ll Love Working Here Consistent schedule: Predictable second shift hours Advanced work: Hands-on diagnostics with major diesel engines Career growth: Opportunities to mentor and develop Stable company: Established, growing organization with long-term opportunities What You’ll Do Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections Troubleshoot Cummins, Mack and Detroit Diesel engines Diagnose and repair ECMs, TCMs and ACMs Work on brake, electrical, suspension and steering systems Apply aftertreatment/Tier 4 emissions system knowledge Use digital systems to review vehicle history and complete work orders Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work environment Support and mentor team members as needed What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED Strong diesel diagnostic and repair experience Knowledge of engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical and brake systems CDL Class B preferred (or ability to obtain) ASE Medium/Heavy certifications preferred Team-oriented mindset with a strong safety focus Ability to pass physical and pre-employment and random drug screens (including marijuana) About Granger Waste Services Working at Granger Waste Services isn’t just a career--it’s a calling.
