# Senior Staff Accountant

This position will be responsible for assisting in the financial close process. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities including creating and entering journal entries Assist with consolidation to ensure timely and accurate financial results Prepare account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts Conduct high level review and analysis of general ledger accounts Extract and prepare ad hoc reports for management Assist in requests from external auditors Maintain and update the documentation of the procedure for the position Assist with process improvement initiatives Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting CPA, or CPA Candidate a plus Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, public or private industry Must have strong organizational skills along with problem solving and analytical skills Experience with ERP systems, and proficiency with MS Excel Able to meet deadlines with attention to detail and high level of accuracy Preferred Qualifications Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis. Highly organized; superior time management skills. Exceptional communication skills both written and oral. Work well with all levels of the corporation. Detail oriented with good technical skills
