This position consists of 3 (12) hour shifts per week, with no weekend requirement at this time. This is subject to change as the needs of the center change. Our day shift starts at 6a and ends at 6:30p. Core Responsibilities & Duties Resident Care & Assessment: Work closely with supervising physicians to assess and monitor resident needs, provide exceptional bedside care, and exhibit strong clinical skills. Medical Documentation: Record and track a resident’s medical history, symptoms, and vital signs, updating resident charts and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) accurately. Treatment & Medications: Administer medications and carry out doctor-recommended treatment plans. Compliance & Collaboration: Comply fully with federal, state, and local nursing regulations, standards, and facility policies while collaborating seamlessly with fellow nurses, doctors, and administrators. Education, Licensing & Requirements Education: Possess an Associate (AS) or Bachelor (BS) degree in nursing (new graduates welcome!). Licensure: Must be currently registered and licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine. CPR Certification: Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and maintain current certification throughout employment. Contingencies: All job offers are contingent upon receiving excellent professional references and passing the Maine State Background Check. Skills & Abilities Technical Literacy: Knowledge and practical use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or solid general computer skills. Communication: Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language clearly.
