# Security Officer - On Call (Part-time) Lawrenceville/Pittsburgh, PA.

As a Security Officer , you will be responsible for guarding, patrolling and monitoring the premises and individuals on the premises to provide a safe and secure environment to our employers and visitors. Duties may include but are not limited to: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Provide customer service by answering telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary. Travel: None required. Schedule: (On-Call) Monday
• Friday (6:45am
• 7:00pm) Schedule may vary depending on department needs. External Hiring Range : $12.00/hour High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 2 years' experience in the security field required. OR Trade School Degree (Security, or related field) AND 1 year of experience in the security field required. OR Associates' Degree (Security, or related field) AND no experience required.
