Front Desk Agent

Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Northwest Tampa, FL Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Northwest is seeking a dependable, service-focused Front Desk Agent. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and help keep the front desk running smoothly. We're looking for someone who communicates clearly, pays attention to details, and takes ownership of guest requests. What You'll Do Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service throughout their stay. Process check-ins, check-outs, reservations, room assignments, and payments accurately. Answer phone calls and respond to questions about the hotel, amenities, and local area. Address guest concerns promptly. Resolve issues within your authority and involve a manager when needed. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance on room readiness, guest requests, and repair needs. Follow payment, guest privacy, and hotel security procedures. Keep the front desk organized and share clear shift updates so requests receive proper follow-through. Support Marriott Bonvoy recognition and enrollment. What You Bring A reliable attendance record and a professional, welcoming attitude. Strong communication skills and sound judgment. The ability to stay organized, manage competing requests, and remain calm during busy periods. Comfort using computers and learning hotel reservation systems. Availability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays. Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience is preferred. Marriott experience is a plus.
