Staff Accountant

Our client, a large and growing construction and real estate organization, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This position is known as a strong developmental role within the accounting organization. The role will be on-site during training and then transition to a hybrid schedule . Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet analysis Assist with consolidated financial reporting Support month-end and quarter-end close activities Research and document accounting issues and new accounting standards Assist with external audit requests and internal control compliance efforts Analyze financial data and identify process improvement opportunities Participate in special projects and organizational initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 1-3+ years of accounting experience Public accounting experience or corporate accounting experience welcome CPA, CPA candidate, or interest in pursuing CPA certification preferred Strong Excel and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Highly organized with strong attention to detail Positive attitude and collaborative approach to work
