ABOUT THIS ROLE
We're hiring a Senior Product Manager to join the team building Highbeam's financial products: global business banking, cards and pay-by-card, treasury and capital.
In each area you own, you'll decide what we build and why, join the calls with our bank and fintech partners, and own whether the product succeeds with customers. The bar is live customers moving real volume.
This role is based in our NoHo, NYC office.
What you'll do
• Own the product for your areas, from customer problem through spec, launch, and adoption
• Lead new partner relationships on the product side: evaluate bank, card, payments, and stablecoin partners, weigh diligence findings and commercial tradeoffs with finance, and decide how their infrastructure becomes our product
• Turn partner and compliance requirements into product: flow of funds, KYB and onboarding, account setup by entity type, and customer-facing flows that match our legal docs
• Work directly with engineers and tech leads to spec, QA, and ship end-to-end
• Drive adoption and monetization: deposits, card and payments volume, and new revenue lines
• Run ongoing customer research with brands and partners and turn it into product decisions
• Partner with product operations and compliance so every launch is ready to operate
Example projects
• Growth: getting new customers to make Highbeam their primary operating account, by moving deposits, payroll, and card spend over in their first 90 days
• Global banking: multi-currency accounts, cross-border supplier payments, and stablecoin on/off-ramps for US and international businesses
• Pay-by-card: letting customers pay vendors by card, including international payments and Amex acceptance
• Treasury: bringing money market products to customers' idle cash
• Cards: debit and charge card features, and a metal card
• Capital: updating the borrower experience to match changes in our lending agreements
Net impact
• Highbeam's financial products grow in adoption and revenue
• New partner programs go from signed contract to live customers
• Highbeam becomes the operating account for more commerce businesses, including multi-geo ones
• Partner and compliance requirements shape the product from day one instead of forcing rework later
Qualifications
• 4–6 years of PM experience; early-stage operator (PM #1–5 at Series A–C)
• Has shipped fintech products as the core experience: banking, cards, payments, lending, cross-border, or stablecoins
• Fluent in money movement: ACH, wires, SWIFT, RTP, card rails, FX, and flow-of-funds design
• Has worked directly with sponsor banks, BaaS providers, card networks, or payments partners, from partner calls through diligence, commercial tradeoffs, and integration
• Working knowledge of KYB/KYC, AML, card network rules, and money transmission
• Strong product builder: writes specs, QAs builds, ships end-to-end
• Comfortable across several products and partners, and able to go deep on one
• Comfortable with AI tools for iteration and product validation
• Bonus: experience with cross-border payments or stablecoins
• Bonus: experience serving international sellers, marketplaces, or ecommerce brands
• Bonus: engineering background
