Full-Time Deli Manager

Role Overview: Lead daily store department operations, ensuring staff training, full staffing, and adherence to company standards to meet goals and KPIs. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory ordering and control to maintain product freshness and quality. Review and validate received orders, ensuring proper storage and condition of products. Supervise team tasks like stocking, production, and handling spoiled products. Maintain product knowledge, including promotions and sales features. Implement and communicate weekly plans, schedules, labor control, and payroll management. Ensure compliance with food safety and safety guidelines, taking corrective actions as needed. Develop department goals, forecasts, and participate in meetings. Create a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department following standards. Lead staffing, training, performance management, and career development of associates. Support strategic planning, problem-solving, and conflict management. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; retail experience and supervisory skills preferred. Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and leadership abilities. Knowledge of retail operations, management systems, and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Desirable: bilingual in English and Spanish depending on location. Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varied environments.
