Team members are encouraged to contribute to a culture of service, reliability, and local engagement. Role Description The Detailer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Evansville, IN. A Detailer is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and detailing vehicles, including washing exteriors, cleaning and vacuuming interiors, polishing surfaces, and applying protective treatments as needed. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles for cleanliness and quality, using detailing tools and products safely, and following company standards for vehicle presentation. The role also involves moving vehicles around the lot or service area, maintaining a clean and organized work space, and coordinating with sales and service teams to ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery. Detailers are expected to follow safety guidelines, meet productivity goals, and provide consistent, high-quality work that supports a positive customer experience. Qualifications Ability to perform detailed cleaning of vehicle interiors and exteriors, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and applying cleaning or protective products. Basic knowledge of automotive surfaces, tools, and cleaning products, with an understanding of safe handling and proper use. Strong attention to detail and quality, with the ability to inspect work and meet established standards for vehicle presentation. Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move vehicles and equipment throughout the shift, and work in varying weather conditions. Reliable time management skills, including punctuality, ability to follow schedules, and meet productivity expectations. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with sales, service, and other team members. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, and the ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles as required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in automotive detailing, car wash, or related roles is beneficial but not required.
