# Medical Assistant

Integrated Dermatology

Room patients Administer injections Scribe for provider during visits Set up and assist during surgical and cosmetic procedures Suture removals Stock and sanitize rooms Autoclave instruments Communicate biopsy, prescription, and lab results to patients Maintain pathology log Schedule patients for surgical procedures Administer Photodynamic Therapy Certified Medical Assistant is preferred Confident with Sterile technique Eager to learn about Dermatology in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Comfort using various computer programs and Electronic Medical Record systems Job Type: Full-time: 4 days a week 7:30am – 5:00pm One overnight trip per month with the provider to practice in Gunnison, CO office (expenses paid) Benefits: Paid Holidays, 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance with 50% discount on products and services Experience: 2 years of experience Medical Assisting is preferred Candidates with Dermatology experience are more competitive in this role Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required Certifications/Licenses: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant is preferred Pay: Pay starts at $20.00 per hour, based on experience All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
