Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit - Full-Time Nights

Role Overview: The Staff Nurse provides high-level, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process. Supervise and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver age-appropriate care. Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and team members to promote understanding and a therapeutic environment. Ensure accurate documentation and safe medication and IV administration. Support hospital standards, policies, and safety protocols. Take initiative for professional development and performance accountability. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Valid nursing license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as required. Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency. Knowledge of hospital policies, nursing standards, and confidentiality. Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Key Duties: Building collaborative relationships, fostering a safe environment, ensuring quality care, and supporting patient education. Work Environment & Demands: Physical activity includes standing, moving, lifting, and reaching; exposure to blood, body fluids, and skin irritants; indoor setting with visual and environmental demands.
