Production Planning Supervisor

Production Planning Supervisor We are looking for a Production Planning Supervisor to join our Supply Chain organization and lead production planning activities across short-, mid- and long-term horizons. In this role, you will be responsible for translating demand, customer requirements and business priorities into feasible production and supply plans, while ensuring the effective utilization of production capacity, materials and resources. You will work closely with Production, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Procurement and other cross-functional teams to ensure plan adherence, manage supply risks and drive continuous improvement across planning processes. Key Responsibilities Lead production and capacity planning , considering forecasts, customer orders, workforce, production constraints and business priorities. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production and supply plans for finished and semi-finished goods, ensuring plan adherence and supply continuity. Consolidate forecasts and perform short- and long-term capacity planning , proactively identifying capacity, material, and supply risks. Monitor production performance and planning KPIs , analyze deviations and drive corrective and continuous improvement actions. Manage planning activities for new product launches, product transitions, and development projects . Collaborate closely with Production, Material Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Customer Service and end markets to align supply with business requirements. Lead S&OE meetings and actively contribute to the S&OP cycle and Supply Review , providing capacity, inventory and supply insights. Lead and contribute to Supply Chain digitalization and system development projects , including SAP S/4HANA and PPDS initiatives. Take ownership of end-to-end supply planning and lead, coach and develop the Production Planning team. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Industrial or Chemical Engineering. Minimum 6 years of Production Planning / Supply Planning experience , preferably in pharmaceutical, food, or FMCG industries. Strong experience in capacity planning, production planning, S&OP and S&OE processes . Solid understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes and cross-functional business dynamics. Proven team leadership and people management experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Advanced command of written and spoken English and MS Office. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM and PPDS . Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation projects is a strong plus.
