Slickline Operator

Position: Slickline Operator Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience Location: Casper, WY Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Slickline Operator to join their team! This is an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing, independently owned oilfield services company. The role offers the chance to step into a hands-on position with strong training support, room to grow, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Supervise slickline crews at the well site or shop Rig up and rig down slickline and pressure control equipment Prepare, inspect, and maintain tool strings and downhole equipment Perform slickline operations, including plugs, gauge runs, and fishing Monitor line tension, depth, speed, and well pressure Report unsafe or abnormal operating conditions immediately Complete inspections, job documentation, and maintenance records Support safe, professional operations at customer well sites Required Qualifications & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent practical experience Prior slickline, wireline, or oilfield experience preferred Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to complete background check and drug screen No felony history Working knowledge of slickline tools and pressure control equipment Ability to understand well pressure, depth, and line tension Strong written and verbal communication skills Nice to Have Skills & Experience: CDL Experience supervising small crews Familiarity with downhole tools and mechanical well interventions Previous experience with rigging up and rigging down equipment Background in plunger lift or fishing operations Ability to work in extended and irregular schedules Experience using job safety documentation and inspection records Perks & Benefits: Direct hire opportunity Paid training provided Growth-oriented environment with promotion potential CDL support available after hire This opportunity includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process.
