Job Description As a Security Guard Patrol Response in Sioux Falls, SD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall setting, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:07 AM • 12:07 PMTue06:07 AM • 12:07 PMThur06:07 AM • 06:07 PMFri06:07 AM • 06:07 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures. Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of retail and public-access areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious behavior, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
