# Staff Accountant

Title: Staff Accountant Overview: Hixen Search Group is partnering with a growing and highly stable manufacturing company in Columbus to identify a staff accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to build their career with a company that values development, work-life balance, and long-term growth. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced accounting team and can take on increasing responsibility as they grow within the organization. Responsibilities: Assist with month-end close across multiple business entities Prepare and post journal entries Perform bank and account reconciliations Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports Support various general accounting activities and projects Work collaboratively with members of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial information Why This Opportunity: Hybrid work set-up Company in high growth mode Friendly, focused environment with great work-life balance and flexibility Very stable company with low turnover Leadership is good at developing people and encourages growth Excellent compensation plus bonus Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred but not required 2-3 years experience preferred, but would consider 1+ years Public accounting is good but not required Manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
