# Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Orthopedic Trauma

Role Overview: This position is for a registered nurse providing quality patient care within a collaborative healthcare team. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, serving as a key liaison between patients, families, and care providers. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care plans and promote patient outcomes. Deliver safe, effective care according to policies; document assessments, interventions, and incidents accurately. Advocate for patients and families by addressing concerns, providing education, and ensuring patient-centered care. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for process enhancements. Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations. Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment aligned with shared governance principles. Adhere to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards; promote the nursing profession and assist in recruitment efforts. Qualifications and Skills: Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred. Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and collaboration skills. Commitment to professional growth and quality improvement.
