# Lead Industrial Property Management Specialist

Site specific salary information as follows: San Jose, California : $113,111 - $172,980 (includes 46.34% locality) Santa Ana, California : $105,482 - $161,313 (includes 36.47% locality) Orlando, Florida : $90,479 - $138,370 (includes 17.06% locality) Please see additional information for more salary by location.
Plans and implements the total property management system for assigned contractors and continuously surveils/evaluates their property control systems.
Appropriately dispositions inventory reported by contractors as excess upon completion, termination, issuance of change orders, or when property is otherwise determined to be excess.
Investigates assigned contractors' liability when government property is lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed, or when there is evidence of unreasonable use or consumption.
Reviews and analyzes new contracts to determine whether the correct property clauses have been included.
Provides technical advice to lower-graded Industrial Property Management Specialists (IPMSs.) In some cases, reviews and approves their work.
Serves as Plant Clearance Officer.
To qualify for a Lead Industrial Property Management Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-03 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-02 or GS-11 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Manufacturing methods, materials organization and management for function in property control systems. Performing complex evaluation decision for planning and implementing property management system. Clearing for appropriate disposition of contractor inventory excess based on contract pre and post review.
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
