Extensive travel is required.This role will report to the Field Engineer/Install Team Lead. Mission: to provide the highest quality products and service to our users at the lowest possible price Strong commitment to the development of our employees, including continuous education opportunities  Learn more about CaptiveAire and our products here      Primary Job Responsibilities: Practice 100% Safe work 100% of the time Install CaptiveAire HVAC equipment — RTUs, ductwork, exhaust fans, and supporting ancillary products — and execute full RTU change-outs. Install HVAC low voltage + space HMI’s. Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and mechanical drawings. Follow CaptiveAire installation standards on every job — spreader-bar lifts, minimal deck cutouts, CAS-supplied gasket with surplus on hand, and a clean, safe, organized jobsite. Coordinate with the Installation Manager and field teams to keep installs on schedule and on spec. Qualifications: Mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. 1-5yrs experience preferred Willingness to travel to jobsites. Travel across the US is 100% covered. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. HVAC field/install experience is preferred but not required for a strong candidate — we will train the trade onto the right attitude and skills. Preferred qualifications: Commercial HVAC installation experience. Refrigeration piping and brazing. EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain). Building Automation Systems (BAS) / controls. OSHA 10/30; commissioning and air-balancing experience.
