We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Test Engineer who's ready to contribute to our quality assurance processes and ensure the reliability of our platform. As a Test Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the quality of our web applications. From designing test cases to executing automated tests, you'll help turn complex systems into reliable solutions. What You'll Be Doing Execute manual testing across web applications to identify bugs, usability issues, and ensure quality standards are met Design and maintain automated regression test suites using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for web UI testing Perform API testing using Postman and REST-Assured to validate backend services Document test cases, bug reports, and testing procedures with clear reproduction steps and expected results in TestRail or similar test management tools Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and provide testing feedback during development cycles Monitor and analyze test results from automated runs, investigate failures, and report issues through Jira and ClickUp Participate in release planning and verify bug fixes before production deployment Contribute to improving QA processes and testing efficiency through better tooling and documentation Review requirements and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios early in the development lifecycle Apply black-box testing techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage 🎯 Who You Are Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance with strong manual testing skills Solid understanding of black-box testing techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, decision tables) Hands-on experience with web test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress Experience with API testing tools including Postman and REST-Assured Working knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for creating and maintaining test scripts Proficiency with Jira and ClickUp for bug tracking and project management Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Qase Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, and backend testing concepts Git knowledge Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to think critically about edge cases Good written and verbal communication skills in English Nice to Have: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling) ISTQB Foundation Level certification
