Role Description The Clinic Registered Nurse at AdventHealth Central Florida provides direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting, ensuring safe, evidence-based nursing practice for individuals and families. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, performing clinical procedures, coordinating care plans, and educating patients and their support persons on health management and preventive care. The nurse collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, documents care accurately in the electronic health record, and supports quality and safety initiatives within the clinic. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Winter Garden, FL, requiring consistent presence in the clinic to support patient flow, triage needs, and overall clinic operations. Qualifications Clinical nursing skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and outpatient procedure support. Competence in care coordination, patient education, and discharge or follow-up planning. Ability to use electronic health records, manage clinical documentation, and follow regulatory and safety standards. Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff. Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred depending on clinic specialty. Previous experience in an outpatient clinic, family practice, internal medicine, or related ambulatory care setting is beneficial. Ability to work in alignment with a faith-based, mission-driven organization and support whole-person, compassionate care.
