A major International bank in Midtown Manhattan is seeking to fill an AVP level position within M&A group Fluency in Mandarin is required due to the nature of the Position/Client CANDIDATES LOCAL TO THE NY/NJ METRO AREA ONLY. NO RE-LOCATION FULL NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION MUST BE INCLUDED ON THE RESUME Description: The incumbent will be responsible for originating, managing and collecting a portfolio of 3 types of loans, with a focus on M&A financing. Other loans can include syndicated loans, project finance, aircraft financing. The AVP will be responsible for marketing the bank to solicit customers, writing credit reviews, negotiating loan agreements, authorizing the loan, monitoring risk in the portfolio and managing relationships. Qualifications: Candidates should have an MBA/Master’s in Finance/real estate/related major and 3-5 years of working experience, with at least 2 years of experience as a credit analyst in the area of corporate lending and customer relationship management. The candidate should have strong credit analysis, people skills and knowledge of accounting. Strong credit analysis and people skills. Previous experience in China-US cross-border transactions /project finance /M&A/syndicated loans/ other types of structured finance is preferred. Fluency in Mandarin is required.
