QA Automation Engineer Location : Alpharetta , GA (Hybrid 3 Days a Week) Hiring Type: C2H Candidate must be available and willing to attend Face-to-Face (F2F) interviews after 1st virtual Round. Skills • Automation + Playwright + Java Automation Testing | Playwright | Java | API Testing | CI/CD | Agile | Test Framework Development Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with Java . Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications. Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test strategies. Develop reusable automation components and utilities to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless automated execution. Perform API testing and validation using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Review application requirements and technical specifications to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to drive issue resolution. Conduct code reviews and enforce automation best practices, coding standards, and quality processes. Monitor automation execution, generate test reports, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Mentor junior automation engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Stay current with emerging automation technologies, testing trends, and industry best practices. Qualifications We Seek In You Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Strong hands-on experience in Java programming . Extensive experience in test automation using Playwright with Java . Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test lifecycle, and quality assurance principles. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Strong knowledge of version control systems such as Git. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and modern DevOps practices. Hands-on experience with performance testing and test reporting tools. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience integrating automation suites with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence. ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications are a plus. Prior experience leading automation initiatives or mentoring QA teams.
