Position Overview Safe Air Technology is seeking a Quality Technician to support our manufacturing and field service operations. This position performs in-process and final inspections, testing, and quality documentation to help ensure our products meet company, industry, safety, compliance, and performance standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on quality inspection experience, a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical components, and excellent attention to detail. What You’ll Do Perform in-process and final inspections of HVAC systems, electrical assemblies, sheet metal components, and mechanical parts in accordance with company and industry standards. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and quality plans to determine inspection requirements and acceptance criteria. Use inspection and testing equipment, including calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and gauges, to verify product compliance. Accurately document inspection results using company quality software, spreadsheets, databases, and other reporting tools. Identify and document quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts with Engineering and Production. Assist with the calibration, maintenance, and control of quality inspection and testing equipment. Prepare and maintain quality records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality processes, product consistency, and overall manufacturing performance. What We’re Looking For 1–3 years of quality inspection, quality control, or technician experience in a manufacturing environment; HVAC, electrical, or mechanical equipment experience is preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and other technical documentation. Experience using standard inspection tools, measuring equipment, and electrical test equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn specialized quality software. Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality concerns. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Availability for occasional overtime based on production and project needs.
