# Automation Engineer

We are currently seeking an Automation Engineer for the Software Department of our client, a well-established company operating in the Industrial Automation sector. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering/Automation) Min. 2 years practical Experience in PLC Design, Development, programming and commissioning in Siemens S7 TIA Portal, with Distributed Safety TIA Portal F-programming WINCC advanced TIA Portal Programming in IEC 61131 ladder diagram, function block, instruction list and structured text Practical experience in HMI panel visualization and PLC/HMI connectivity Comprehensive knowledge of hardware components (PLC, I/O, decentralized components, sensors) and F-PLC/F-programming Good knowledge in fieldbus systems, especially Profinet/ProfiSafe and diagnostics Good knowledge in PLC based Ethernet communication (hard and software) and PLC to PLC communication (PN/PN coupler) Experience with FC controlled motor positioning systems based on SSI way coding encoder (way coded barcode reader) Fluent English and technical vocabulary knowledge No military obligation for male candidates Analytic skills, personal initiative, reliable, team-oriented, result-oriented working Enjoys international travel and is available for frequent overseas business trips.
