QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION Preferably graduated from maritime/port management departments of universities, At least 3 years of experience in operation (vessel/terminal), MS Office applications can be used effectively, Very good spoken and written knowledge of English, To be able to adapt flexible and busy working hours, Have team management skills, Have effective communication, planning and coordination skills, Presentative and strong representation ability, Analytical thinking, dynamic, Have self-motivation and business discipline. Key roles Eyes and ears on the ground protecting the interest of MSC Planning and monitoring the live berth activities Berth performance management Job purpose Coordinate and oversee vessel operations at berth Ensure that terminals are providing consistent level of service Ensure that schedule requirements are fully met Report any issue regarding vessel ops to the related managers in charge Responsibility Live operation Coordinate and oversee the MSC vessel operations Discuss berthing program with terminal, secure berths and make gang orders Ensure to minimize lost on quay and maintain vessel program by schedule requirements Monitoring the progress of berth Take actions in case of immediate need related to ship berthing operations Secure coordination between agent and terminal for the berth and operations requirements Work closely with terminals and colleagues within organization to increase berth productivity and reduce port stay Monitoring the terminal developments in terms of upgrade on yard or equipment structure Any of vessel related issue which has possibility to delay operation
