Description Specialization: Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Summary: Trident Health and Summerville Medical Center are looking for an OBGYN to join their Summerville Women's Care practice in Summerville, South Carolina. Qualified Candidates/Details: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Must have a South Carolina license or the ability to get a South Carolina license prior to starting Call schedule of 1 set call day per week with 1:6 night call schedule (home call) and average 1:6 weekend call coverage with Full Time OB Hospitalist support potential for work within the OB/GYN residency program Robotic Available Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive salary driven by MGMA data and industry benchmarking Benefit offerings that cater to your lifestyle: health, dental, vision, pharmacy, & financial Paid time off paired with allocated dollars and days toward CME Relocation and signing incentives offered in most circumstances Summerville Medical Center has invested in growing the hospital’s women’s and pediatric care so that families can receive high quality care close to home. In recent years Summerville Medical Center has opened a new women’s and neonatal tower that includes 30 postpartum private rooms, 12 labor and delivery rooms, a 6 bed Level III NICU and 7 special care nursery beds. Trident Health system consolidated all obstetric and neonatal care to one location at Summerville Medical Center in 2019. In addition, Summerville Medical Center offers a high risk obstetric Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, comprehensive breast health care at the Summerville Breast Center, and a roster of board-certified physicians specializing in women’s care. Pediatric care includes a 10-bed pediatric ER, inpatient pediatric unit and pediatric intensive care unit, and pediatric subspecialty programs including general surgery, orthopedics, and gastroenterology. About Trident Health: Trident Health System is a 555-bed hospital tertiary-care system comprised of Trident Medical Center, Summerville Medical Center, and Live Oak Mental Health and Wellness. Trident Medical Center is a 321-bed major medical center with a 24-hour emergency room and Level II Trauma Center Summerville Medical Center is 174-bed, Acute Care hospital serving families in Dorchester, Berkley, and surrounding communities.
