Role Overview As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate care to our patients. You will work under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. Your contributions are essential in creating a positive and efficient healthcare experience for our patients. What You Will Do Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment. Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients. Measure and record vital signs, contributing to comprehensive patient assessments. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and readiness. Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective patient care. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description. Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation. Preferred Qualifications Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
