Health Information Manager

Job Summary: The Health Information Manager (HIM) provides supervision, quality control, and accountability for patient Referrals and Medical Records at all clinical sites.  The HIM establishes protocols for the accurate and timely processing of patient referrals and medical records to ensure continuity of care.  The HIM is responsible for the setting of priorities and assigning cases to staff to promote efficiency.  The position works with the EHR and Operations Teams in optimizing the medical records, e-referrals system, and referrals tracking.  The manager is responsible for enforcing clinic policy, adhering to timelines, and regular reporting on department productivity.
